Importance of attitude

Monday, September 12th, 2005

I’ve been thinking recently about the role of your attitude in gaining Real Health. I’ve noticed and I’m sure you have as well, that your attitude has a major effect on your actions. If you believe that you will fail, then you will. If you think you’ll succeed, you will.

Taking supplements is a fairly easy way to get started on your Real Health journey. It’s simple to just take your supplements every day, just like brushing your teeth or anything else you do on a daily basis.

Getting more sunlight is fairly simple as well. I try to park my car farther away so one, I get more exercise and two, I get more sunlight exposure. These two things are easy, and can lead to your attitude slowly becoming more positive, because they are things you can do regularly, with little chance of failure. Plus, if the sun isn’t out, well that’s not your fault, so no guilt!

The next thing you can try is to start reading labels. Try to buy less of those products that have MSG, or hydrogenated oils, or sugar or white flour. Small steps are better than none at all. If you try to change your diet all at once, it will be easier to give up. The success of the small changes will encourage you to keep the changes you’ve made and to make even more.
