Healthy foods are actually cheaper than popular manufactured foods

People tend to think that being healthy is something that is beyond them. That it is expensive, time-consuming and just a pain. I say that it is all relative.

I live in Portland Oregon. Starbucks and other coffee places are everywhere! People will spend 3-5 bucks on a drink, and another few dollars on a pastry. For less than that, I can have a breakfast drink. The difference? My shake has whole foods, antioxidants, tons of nutrients in a form that my body can use. It’s good for you. The coffee/pastry breakfast has a lot of fat, caffeine, white flour, white sugar, and a lot of other things that not only don’t help your health, but hurt it.

As I post more, you’ll learn about real health, not what passes for healthy among most Americans today. You’ll hear about superfoods, antioxidants, spirulina, chlorella, astaxanthin, phytonutrients, all things that help your body be truly healthy.
