I tried making an avocado milkshake today. I really tried, but I just couldn’t deal with the taste. However, I was very impressed with my new Waring Pro blender. I put in the soymilk and avocado, and mixed those a little. Then I opened the hole in the middle of the lid and slowly added ice cubes. There was not a shred of little ice chunks at all, it got them all.
I went to Subway for lunch today. I did check their website and found a very helpful webpage with an allergen chart. The chart is in PDF format. It lists what food ingredients have MSG (in the form of hydrolyzed or textured vegetable proteins and/or autolyzed yeast) or nitrites, or anything else you might be concerned about eating.
Took my usual doses of spirulina, chlorella, astaxanthin and other supplements. Had a breakfast shake with Superfood and an evening shake with Berry Green. Another hot day here in Portland, I drank 2 Diet Coke and 5 20 oz bottles of filtered water.
